PLAN AHEAD!

 

Most First Saturday events are free and you can pick what to do on the day of.  Listed below are the events you have to rsvp to or buy tickets for.  

  

 

Okotoks Public Library

Family Gingerbread House Making: Bring your family to the library to build and decorate your own gingerbread house. Some candy will be provided for decoration, but you might want to bring some of your own too! Refreshments will be served. Limited space. Fee must be paid at time of registration. No refunds.  1:30pm - 3:00pm, 1 house per family - $15/family , Call to register at 403.938.2220, 7 Riverside Drive West.

 

 

 

Paintworks Art Studios & Supplies

Christmas Greeting Cards in Acrylic: No
experience required, just enthusiasm.  $40, all supplies included.10:30 - 2:30 pm.  Register at www.paintworks.com. 112 Elizabeth St. (403.995.7706)

 

 

 

Big Rock Singers Christmas Carolers

You don't have to reserve for this, but if you want to make sure to catch them, The Big Rock Singers will start at the Okotoks Art Gallery at 12noon and will be caroling door to door at First Saturday participants in Olde Towne Okotoks from 12noon-3pm, FREE.

 

 

 

Rotary Performing Art Center

The Okotoks Arts Council (OAC) presents Maria Dunn in concert: A storyteller through song, Maria Dunn combines North American folk and country music with the influences of her Celtic heritage. 7-9pm, Tickets $25 +GST Rush at the door $30, 3 Elma Street (403.938.3204) 

 

 

Okotoks Public Library

Grandpa and Me Reading Circle (Grandmas invited too!): We are looking for mature adult volunteers for our new Grandpa and Me Reading Circle where children (ages 4 & older) and adult volunteers read together for enjoyment. 10:30 - 11:30 am, FREE. Bistro Provence
