Canadian artist Brian G. Turner has travelled Canada and has captured Canadians essence through his beautiful paintings.

“Having entered the work force as an architectural draftsman at the age of 16, Brian worked part time and full time for numerous architects and engineers over a 14-year period while he completed his Bachelors and Masters degrees of Education with a Fine Arts major from Okanagan College and Brigham Young University. Brian has recently re-immersed himself in the medium of watercolor after retiring from a 37 year teaching career. Brian’s artwork strives to express his deeply rooted love of the Canadian landscape which is a result of having lived in Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario along with his recurrent career related travels across Canada.
“In his early years Brian illustrated numerous publications and articles. His production of artwork was laid aside during much of his teaching career and has been re-ignited in his current passion for watercolor.” https://www.brianturnerart.com/recent-work.html

Shauna Liora from Canmore, Alberta is an artist and an outdoor adventure guide. She combines her two passions.

‘While on a trip north of the Arctic Circle in 2015 I met a First Nations artist who introduced me to the mysteries of fire and ink.

I was incredibly inspired and developed a method that allows the fluidity of fire to be captured with mesmerizing effects.

I now combine my skills as artist and adventurer to help tell stories through each piece.

We all adventure in our own way. Adventure has the ability to offer a doorway into new worlds.” Shauna Liora

Jillaine Jurchuk a Calgary, Alberta artist creates a fusion of photography and paintings for her amazing works.

“The creative flame that came into this world whom we know as Jillaine Jurchuk, began her mortal adventure and spent her formative years in rural Ontario. Honouring the artistic muse that has shaped her life experience since she first picked up a crayon, Jillaine discovered that interior design provided her with a meaningful and practical expression of her artistic gifts, graduating from studies in this discipline in 1999.

After graduating, Jillaine followed the call of the west, settling in Calgary, where she continues to flourish and evolve as a working artist.”

“I am an artist who enjoys working in acrylics and oils, and am inspired by the natural environment as well as people. I mostly choose to paint landscapes, trees, florals and animals.

Intrigued by what goes on in an animal I often choose to present them as portraits. Alberta is blessed with a multitude of gorgeous critters and breathtaking landscapes which I love to explore in every season of the year. I cannot go outside without being intrigued by the beauty surrounding us and showing itself in so many different ways. The way the light hits and creates a special atmosphere not only in large areas but also in tiny little niches captivates me. I am mesmerized by it.

My style can be defined as a kind of graphic realism. I enjoy exaggerating on the brightness of colour to produce a cheerful image. I hope to make people smile, not take things too seriously and to enjoy life.”

“Born in Hungary in 1946, Andrew and his family immigrated to Canada in 1957 after escaping the turmoil of the Hungarian uprising against the Russian invasion. After arriving on the East Coast of Canada, their journey eventually led them to Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Although Andrew spent his early adulthood employed as a topographical draftsman, his love of art was always with him. He began working with oils and painting his surrounding landscape. A move to the interior of BC gave him more inspiration with the vast mountains, lakes, and wildlife. In the early 1980’s he started to paint wildlife and sell his works through small local shows and galleries. This self taught artist was starting to see his talent evolve through developing his own recognizable style.” Andrew Kiss https://www.kissfineart.com
